Introduction
MG Comet EV is the entry level EV from brand MG. It is based on the SGMW Global Small Electric Vehicle (GSEV) platform of SAIC Motors. In China and Indonesia, it is sold as Wuling Air EV under the Wuling brand.
Exterior and Design
MG Comet EV is a 2 door (3 door with boot lid) small electric city car with unique design elements like a connected LED strip in the front and rear, B-pillar mounted vertical door handles, small 12 inch steel wheels with aero efficient wheel caps, glowing MG logo in the front, glass antenna in the rear windshield, etc. Also, there’s a chrome strip that connects both the ORVMs while passing through the front of the car.
Interior and Features
The MG Comet EV gets a number of features that’s not common in the segment. Some of these are all around LED lights (interior & exterior), 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25 inch fully digital drivers display, one touch up down driver window with pinch guard, proximity lock unlock, proximity EV start stop and wireless android auto/apple carplay etc.
Battery & Motor
Comet EV comes with a 17.3 kWh battery pack paired with a PMSM motor generating 42 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque.
Drive Train
MG Comet EV is a rear wheel drive electric car with the motor placed in the rear end of the car.
Driving Range
For Comet EV, MG claims a full charge driving range of 230 km.

On the dimension front, the Comet EV's length measures 2974 mm, its width measures 1505 mm and its height measures 1640 mm. Moreover, its wheelbase measures 2010 mm.

MG gives you the option to choose from 3 single tone colours and 2 dual tone colours (with black roof). Moreover, there are also 3 different variants to choose from.
