Tata Nexon.ev will soon face fierce competition from its main rival i.e. Mahindra XUV400 electric, as the XUV400 electric is set to receive a major facelift in the coming few months.

Introduction
Tata Nexon EV is the electric version of the ICE powered Nexon. Despite the fact that Nexon EV is a first generation electric car from Tata Motors, it gets several features that generally only born/pure EVs get. These features include V2V/V2L (Vehicle to Vehicle/Vehicle to Load) charging.
Exterior and Design
In the exterior, Tata Nexon EV now comes with a futuristic design inspired by Tata’s concept cars like Curvv and Harrier EV. Moreover, it comes with a front and rear connected LED light bar design along with welcome & goodbye signature features. The turn indicators now have a dynamic swipe function.
Interior and Features
The newly facelifted Tata Nexon EV now gets more premium interiors with a larger 12 inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25 inch drivers display. There’s also Tata's new design two spoke steering with illuminated logo. Other features include, electric parking brake with auto hold, wireless charger, wireless android auto/apple carplay, paddle shifters for regen, etc.
Battery & Motor
Tata Nexon EV continues to come with two battery and motor combinations. The medium range option comes with a 30 kWh battery pack and the long range option comes with a 40.5 kWh battery pack. The medium range variant comes with a motor capable of producing 129 PS of power and 215 Nm of Torque. Whereas the long range variant comes with a motor that can produce 144 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque.
Drive Train
Tata Nexon EV is a front wheel drive electric SUV.
Driving Range
The ARAI certified range of Tata Nexon EV medium range variant is 325 km. The long range Nexon EV gets a higher range of 465 km.
Dimension
The new Tata Nexon EV’s dimensions more or less remain the same as the pre-facelift model with length being 3994 mm, width being 1811 mm, height being 1616 mm, and wheelbase being 2498 mm. The boot space of the Nexon EV measures at 350 litres.
Variants and Colours
Customers have the option of 4 different colours with either black or white roof. Also, there are 6 different variants to choose from.
Segment and Rivals
Tata Nexon EV’s main rival is the Mahindra XUV400 electric. However, it also competes with the MG ZS EV to some extent.
