Latest Update: Toyota is expected to bring a sportier version of the Glanza premium hatchback in India. The Japanese brand showcased it in the 2023 auto expo. However, its launch is not confirmed and there’s no concrete date.

Introduction
As the Toyota Glanza is nothing but a rebadged Maruti Baleno, it is manufactured by Maruti Suzuki and then supplied to Toyota. The hatchback also gets some cosmetic changes in the exterior to differentiate it from the Maruti Baleno.
Exterior and Design
Toyota Glanza comes with an extremely similar design to that of Maruti Baleno with some minor tweaks. The design differences are visible in the front grille, front & rear bumpers, fog lamp housing, headlamp unit, taillamp unit and alloy wheels.

Toyota Glanza gets the same set of features as the Maruti Baleno. These include an HUD (heads up display), 9 inch smartplay pro plus touchscreen infotainment system, wireless android auto/apple carplay, auto dimming IRVM, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, 360 degree camera system, etc.
Engine and Transmission
The rebadged premium hatchback comes with a single engine option i.e. a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 89 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. It comes with 5 speed manual gearbox option or 5 speed AMT auto gearbox option. Moreover, it also gets the petrol+CNG option paired with only a 5 speed manual gearbox.
