The Ampere Primus is positioned as a high-speed electric scooter with a focus on affordability, practicality, and premium features. It is powered by a mid-mounted motor paired with a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, offering reliable performance and an eco-friendly commuting solution.
Variant & Colour
The Ampere Primus is available in one variant priced between ₹1.20 lakh and ₹1.53 lakh, depending on the region. The scooter can be purchased in four colour options: Royal Orange, Havelock Blue, Buck Black, and Himalayan White.
Battery, Range & Power
The Primus is powered with a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, and the range climbs up to 107 km per charge (ARAI-certified), translating to around 80–85 km in real-world usage. The mid-mounted motor delivers 3.4 kW nominal power and 4 kW peak power output.
Charging time
The Ampere Primus requires approximately 5 hours for a full charge using a standard 15A home charger. The Primus also supports fast charging, reducing the charging time to around 2 hours.

The length of the Primus is 1912 mm, the width is 705 mm, the height is 133 mm, and the ground clearance is 150 mm.
