Battre Electric Mobility Scooters

BattRE Electric Mobility is a startup that was founded in 2017 by Nishchal Chaudhary with the purpose of achieving all-inclusive and sustainable modes of transportation using renewable energy sources.

Their product portfolio includes electric scooters and electric cycles. They sold their first scooter in July 2019 and have since built a network of over 400 dealerships in more than 21 states across India. In just three years, they have achieved sales in excess of 30,000 units. Their latest offering is the Storie electric scooter, which was launched in June 2022 at Rs 89,600 (ex-showroom). The Storie features a retro design with a round headlamp and metal body panels. It has a 3.1kWh removable battery pack that powers a Lucas TVS-sourced hub motor that produces 2bhp of continuous power and 20Nm of torque. The Storie has a top speed of 65km/h and a certified range of 132km on a single charge. It also has smart features like a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, call notifications, navigation assist, Spotify compatibility, three riding modes, parking mode and reverse mode. The Storie has been tested for over 1 lakh kilometres and is AIS 156 compliant.
