Exterior & Design
The new Elevate is Honda's answer to the 4m+ mid size SUV segment. Based on the same platform as that of City, the Elevate is for those who want an SUV with all the positives of the City. In the front, the Elevate comes with a huge squarish grille giving it a bold, butch and aggressive look. The all LED headlamp units also merge seamlessly with the thick chrome element at the top of the front grille. In the rear, the taillamps come with connected design. However, the connected element in the taillamp do not illuminate. The 17 inch dual tone diamond cut alloys add to the bold look and the thick cladding on the wheel arch give the Elevate a true SUV stance.
Interior & features
Inside the cabin, the Elevate continues to offer Honda City like premium feel with the use of soft touch materials on the upper part of the dashboard. Its equipment list is also decent with offerings like a 10 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless android auto & apple car play, wireless charger, single plane sunroof, a 7 inch part digital instrument cluster, etc.
Safety & Tech
On the safety & tech front, the Honda Elevate gets Honda's signature features like rear blind view display for the left side, front camera based Honda Sensing ADAS tech, and advanced Honda Connect connected car tech.
Engine & Transmission
Honda offers only 1 engine option in Elevate i.e. the 1.5 litre 4 cylinder I-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine. The transmission options are a 6 speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox. The engine generates 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque.
Dimensions
Being in the mid size SUV segment, the Honda Elevate measures 4312 mm in length, 1790 mm in width, 1650 mm in height and 2650 mm in wheelbase. Also, it offers 458 litres of boot space and segment best ground clearance of 220 mm (unladen).
