Ampere started deliveries of this newly launched electric scooter - Nexus in June 2024. This electric scooter comes in two variants - Nexus EX and Nexus ST. The company initially priced Nexus at Rs 1,09,900 (ex-showroom) as a part of EMPS (Electric Mobility Promotional Scheme 2024).
Introduction
Ampere introduced the Nexus as a flagship product in its e2W scooter lineup. Nexus comes with a traditional scooter design with multiple color options. Additionally, the company also tested this scooter to prove its reliability by taking it from the peaks of Kashmir to the off-shores of Kanyakumari.
Variants
Nexus comes in two variants - Nexus EX and Nexus ST. You can also choose your Nexus from multiple colour options including Lunar White, Steel Grey, Zanskar Aqua, and Indian Red.
Pricing
At the time of its launch, Ampere priced the Nexus EX at Rs 1,09,900 (ex-showroom), and the Nexus ST at Rs 1,19,900 (ex-showroom) as a part of the Electric Mobility Promotional Scheme.
After this offer, the company increased the prices of both variants by Rs 10,000. As a result, the updated price of the Nexus EX is Rs 1,19,900 and the Nexus ST at Rs 1,29,900 both at ex-showroom, New Delhi.
Battery and Power
The Nexus is powered by a 3kWh battery which can provide a total range of 136 km on a single charge. This battery supplies power to a mid-mounted motor inside the swingarm. It can produce a peak power of 4kW and goes a top speed up to 93kmph.
Charging Time
The battery of Ampere Nexus can charged fully from 0-100% in 3.3 hours.

*Limp Home is a special feature that automatically gets activated when the battery drops down from 20%. It helps the rider to take the scooter either to the nearest charging grid or Home.
Braking and Suspension
Nexus is framed on telescopic forks at the front and dual-shock absorbers in the rear. Further, you will get a disc brake at the front and a drum braking system at the rear.
