Exterior Design
Although Kwid is Renault's most affordable model in India, it still carries modern design elements that look a segment above. Some of these design features include slim LED DRLs placed above the dual barrel headlamp units. In the rear, it gets LED taillamps with reflectors placed on the rear bumpers. On the side, the wheels get hyper-style design which look like alloys despite of being steel ones.
Interior & Features
In the cabin, it comes with 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with android auto and apple car play connectivity. The steering wheel comes with mounted audio and phone controls. The fully digital drivers display gets TPMS information. Moreover, the ORVMs also come with electric adjustment function.
Safety & Tech
Apart from standard safety features like ABS, EBD and dual airbags, it also comes with ESP, traction control, hill hold, TPMS, and reverse camera with guide lines.
Engine & Transmission
Renault offers Kwid with just one engine option. Its the 1 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 68 PS of power and 91 Nm of torque. Also, it can be paired with either a 5 speed manual gearbox or a 5 speed AMT auto gearbox.
Variants & Colours
Buyers have the option to choose from 5 single tone and 5 dual tone colours. Also, one can choose from 4 different variants i.e. RXE, RXL (O), RXT and Climber.
Dimensions
Despite being a small & compact city focused hatchback, the Kwid offers a generous ground clearance of 184 mm and a substantial boot space of 280 litres. Moreover, it measures 3731 mm in length, 1579 mm in width and 1474 mm in height.

Renault Kwid competes with Maruti Alto K10, Maruti Wagon-R, Tata Tiago, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, etc in the entry level hatchback segment.
