The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift is the mid-life update to the popular premium sub compact SUV from the Korean brand. With this facelift, Kia has tried to make the Sonet more premium, more feature loaded and more value for money in the segment.
Exterior and Design
The new Kia Sonet facelift now gets more aggressive front design. With connected LED light bar design in the rear tail lamps, it now looks up to date with the latest trend. Moreover, the LED front fog lamps add to the premium appeal of the SUV.
Interior and Features
Kia Sonet now comes loaded with many new best and first in segment features like a 360 degree camera system, rear blind view monitor, multi colour ambient lighting, fully digital drivers display, etc. On the safety front, it now comes with camera based level 1 ADAS with 10 features, all wheel disc brakes, and 6 standard airbags.
Engine and Transmission
Buyers of Kia Sonet facelift can choose from 3 engine and 5 transmission combination options. There’s a 1 litre T-GDi petrol engine, a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5 litre CRDi VGT diesel engine. The turbo petrol can be paired with a 6 speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 7 speed DCT auto. The 1.2 litre NA petrol can be paired with only a 5 speed manual. The 1.5 litre diesel can be paired with a 6 speed manual, a 6 speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 6 speed torque converter auto.
