Buyers of Kia Sonet facelift can choose from 3 engine and 5 transmission combination options. There’s a 1 litre T-GDi petrol engine, a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5 litre CRDi VGT diesel engine. The turbo petrol can be paired with a 6 speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 7 speed DCT auto. The 1.2 litre NA petrol can be paired with only a 5 speed manual. The 1.5 litre diesel can be paired with a 6 speed manual, a 6 speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 6 speed torque converter auto.
