The Verna is powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines in addition to a 1.0-litre turbo petrol option. The engine options on the Verna are 1.5L petrol making 113bhp and 144nm torque, while the 1.0L turbo petrol makes 120bhp and 172nm torque, the diesel engine on the other hand is a 1.5L one making 115bhp and 250nm torque. The ARAI certified mileage of the Verna for the 1.5L petrol is 18.4kmpl for AMT and 17.7kmpl for manual, for 1.0L turbo petrol is 19.2kmpl, for the diesel is 25kmpl for manual and 21.3kmpl for automatic.

The silhouette of the new Verna is quite similar to the older version but there are detailed changes on the car. The front now gets the new stylish face with the chrome cascade grille. The front bumper also gets a very aggressive look. The side profile comes with the 5-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels. They really stand out giving the car a sporty appeal. The rear of the car has been designed with a lip spoiler and a faux diffuser giving the car its sporty elements.

The interior of the car comes with a dual-tone dashboard with a color combination of black and beige. The car comes with a new infotainment system. It is a 7-inch touch-screen unit that comes with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, and Mirror Link. The car comes with 6 speakers along with Smart Surround System by Arkamys, it also has wireless phone charging and paddle shifters in the turbo version. The car has a boot space of 480 liters that comes with a hands-free smart trunk. The safety features of the car include 6 airbags, ABS and EBD, a reverse camera, rear parking sensors, etc.

Comfortable Vehicle

I was looking for a small car with a decent price range. I did not want to spend much on a vehicle, but I didn't want to compromise on the quality either. I have been driving this car for 9 months now and I am very happy with it. The engine is powerful and so is the transmission. The car handles well on highways and in city traffic as well.The car also comes with features like rear AC vent, bluetooth connectivity, power windows, etc... which are all great additions considering the price range of the vehicle.

Amazing comfort

Hyundai Verna is one of the best cars in its class. The car has great fuel economy, a spacious interior and a good number of features that are unique for its class.
