Latest Update
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber is an upcoming motorcycle that is expected to launch in India around June 2024.
Introduction
It is a bobber version of the Classic 350 and could be named the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350. The bike is expected to be more aspirational than the current 350 offering and could be priced around Rs. 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine
Classic 350 Bobber will use the proven J-series 349cc, air-cooled engine from the Meteor 350. The single-cylinder motor delivers 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
Performance
The engine is expected to offer similar levels of performance on the bobber as well, but given that it could be lighter than the Classic 350, the bobber could feel peppier and fun to ride. The Classic 350 delivered a fuel economy of 32 kmpl in internal tests, and a similar number is expected from the Classic 350 Bobber too.
Exterior and Design
It will feature many new elements that distinguish it from the current Classic 350. It will feature a comfortable, upright riding position courtesy of the ape hanger handlebar.
The bobber features a floating rider seat and a long rear fender. A pillion seat might be available as an optional extra. The white-wall tyres, which will be exclusive to the Classic 350 Bobber, will add a touch of flamboyance to the overall look.
Ride and Handling
The hardware will be similar to the Classic 350, and the bobber will come equipped with telescopic forks up front and twin springs at the rear. Then, braking duties will be handled by single discs at both ends.
The motorcycle will ride on wire-spoke wheels that would be wrapped on tube-type tyres. You can expect features like bulb illumination, an analogue console with an LCD inset, dual-channel ABS, and a probable Tripper-Navigation dial as well.
