The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has received a minor price hike of Rs. 2,000 across all variants. The bike now starts from Rs. 2,07,826 for the Fireball variant and goes up to Rs. 2,31,802 for the Supernova variant (ex-showroom Chennai).
Introduction
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a cruiser bike that replaces the Thunderbird in the company's lineup. It is based on the new J platform that features a new frame, engine and design. The Meteor 350 is aimed at long-distance riders who want a comfortable and easy-going motorcycle with the signature Royal Enfield thump.
Variant and Color
It is available in four variants: Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova. Each variant has different features and styling elements, such as decals, seat covers, flyscreens, panniers and silencers.
It offers a wide range of colour options to suit different tastes.
The Fireball variant comes in two colours: Fireball Red and Fireball Yellow.
The Stellar variant comes in three colours: Stellar Black, Stellar Blue and Stellar Red.
The Aurora variant comes in four colours: Aurora Green, Aurora Blue, Aurora Black and Aurora Matt Green.
The Supernova variant comes in two colours: Supernova Blue and Supernova Red.
Engine and Power
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by a new 349 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 20.2 bhp of power at 6100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm.
The engine is fuel-injected and features a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) and a counterbalancer to reduce vibrations. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox that offers smooth shifts and good performance.
Fuel Efficiency and Tank Capacity
It has an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 32.6 kmpl, which is decent for a cruiser bike of this size. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres, which gives it a range of around 450 km on a full tank.

Semi-digital instrument cluster that displays speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, clock and service reminder.
The secondary pod hosts the Bluetooth-enabled Tripper Navigation system, using Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions. Paired with the Royal Enfield app, it displays directions on your smartphone.
Halogen headlamp with LED DRLs that provide good illumination and visibility.
LED tail lamp that adds to the retro charm of the bike.

Wheel Size and Weight
The Meteor 350 has a wheelbase of 1400 mm, seat height of 765 mm, ground clearance of 170 mm, and a kerb weight of 191 kg.
It comes with either alloy wheels or spoke wheels depending on the variant. The alloy wheels are lighter and stronger than the spoke wheels, but the spoke wheels offer better shock absorption and durability.
The bike has tubeless tyres that are puncture-resistant and offer good grip on different terrains. The tyre size for both front and rear wheels is 100/90-19.
