Exterior & Design
The all electric BYD Seal comes with extremely aerodynamic exterior design that results in a drag coefficient of 0.219Cd. The air curtains in the front bumper and the aero efficient inserts in the alloys help a lot in improving the aerodynamics of the electric sedan. It also gets electrically retracting flush type door handles to further improve aerodynamics.
Interior & Features
Just like BYD's Atto 3, the Seal also features a 15.6 inch electrically rotatable central infotainment touchscreen, a fully digital 10.25 inch drivers display, dual wireless charging phone pads, wireless phone connectivity, connected car tech, ADAS tech with 1 front camera + 5 millimeter wave radars, etc. For easy entry & exit, it comes with NFC enabled card key and Bluetooth enabled mobile phone access.
Battery & Motor
In India, BYD Seal comes with 3 powertrain options i.e. a 61.44 kWh battery pack with rear wheel drive PMS motor generating 150 kW of power and 310 Nm of torque, an 82.56 kWh battery pack with rear wheel drive PMS motor generating 230 kW of power and 360 Nm of torque, and another 82.56 kWh battery pack with all wheel drive dual motor setup producing a combined power of 390 kW and a combined torque of 670 Nm.
Pricing & Colour Options
Its prices start at Rs 41 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant with 61.44 kWh battery and 510 Km of range. The mid variant with 82.56 kWh battery and 650 Km of range is priced at Rs 45.55 Lakh (ex-showroom). The top end all wheel drive variant with 580 Km of range is priced at Rs 53 Lakh (ex-showroom).
