The Ronin's design is inspired by the Zeppelin cruiser concept showcased at the Auto Expo four years ago, but it has clearly shifted towards a distinct design philosophy. It has a very attractive design that grabs the attention of people around. It comes with color options such as Stargaze Black, Down Orange, Galactic Grey, Delta Blue, Nimbus Gray, Magma Red, Midnight Blue, and Glacier Silver. When you ride Ronnin in an urban or rural area, everyone will take a look at it at least once. This bike has a modern touch which comes with a unique exhaust system that produces an intriguing sound.

icon

The kerb weight of this bike is 160kg which feels heavy but the rider gets used to it over time. In terms of riding position, this bike is very comfortable for people with an average height of 5 foot 7 inches. Coming to the front, you will get a windshield that enhances the riding experience on the highways and reduces the wind resistance on your body.

The TVS Ronin is powered by a 225.9cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It delivers the power of  20.4 PS at 7,750 rpm and generates a torque of 19.93 Nm at 3,750 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission with an assist and slipper clutch for smooth gear shifts and better control in different conditions. The refined engine of TVS Ronnin provides a top speed of 125 Km per hour, even with a pillion on the back seat.

icon

Talking about the mileage of the motorcycle, it provides up to 60km per liter under economy speed between 50-80 km per hour, which is much higher than other bikes with an engine of more than 200cc. However, the bike sometimes vibrates a little when it goes over 90 km per hour. These vibrations often lead to fatigue in longer rides, making it suitable for short rides. Additionally, seat comfort also becomes a limitation in long journeys, especially for pillion because of the small seating surface area and less cushion material.

icon

Overall, with the blend of strong power, reliable performance, and thoughtful engineering, this motorcycle provides an enjoyable riding experience.

icon

The TVS Ronin comes with practical features that enhance rider comfort and convenience. The motorcycle also includes an asymmetric instrument cluster that provides essential information such as a digital fuel gauge, digital speedometer, odometer, gear indicator, and all the necessary information about the vehicle's health and status.

icon
Asymmetric Instrument Cluster

It includes Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone integration that allows access to calls, SMS alerts, and navigation. Additionally, it also offers voice assistance to navigate through your calls, alerts, bike health, and much more.

Furthermore, when it comes to safety, the bike offers features such as dual-channel ABS and disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels for emergency braking conditions. Additionally, Ronin also offers adjustable levers, gear shift assist, and two ABS modes for rain and urban scenarios.

icon
Rain and Urban ABS Modes

A standout feature of TVS Ronin is Glide Through Traffic Technology which provides easy maneuvering in high-traffic and congested streets. This technology enables forward movement without throttle input when modulating the clutch.

icon
Glide Through Technology

Some additional features also include a side-stand inhibitor which disables the engine’s ability to ignite when side stand is down. Moreover, a DTE (Distance to Empty) indicator on the console that tells you when to stop, refuel, and continue the ride again.

icon

The handling and ride experience of Ronin is quite comfortable and impressive. Thanks to its wide handlebars and upright seating position which makes the bike more smooth and easily controllable. However, despite its relaxed rake angle, Ronin cuts corners like a roadster with a strong grip on the road. Further, when it comes to the braking power, its 300mm front and 240mm rear disc plates offer sufficient stopping power without a skid.

icon

Nonetheless, riders may need to exert more force for aggressive braking because the bite may feel sharp at first but eventually becomes spongy. Going down to the suspension system, it features an air-charged, mono-shock in the rear and an upside-down 41mm USD fork in the front tyre that absorbs the dumps and lumps of the road seamlessly to provide a butter-smooth gliding experience.

icon

Although, the turning radius can be improved as it provides stability but limits some agility in constrained spaces. The bike feels planted in the corners and the grip from the TVS Rambler tyres is satisfactory. In addition, some people may find the seat size a little small and could feel less softer for longer trips. Overall, the Ronin facilitates a comfortable and reliable riding experience that works well in various riding conditions.

Versatile Cruiser with a Modern Touch
The TVS Ronin is a versatile cruiser with modern features and good performance. After 5,500 km, I’m pleased with its comfort and handling, both in the city and on highways. The mileage of 42 km/l is decent for a cruiser bike. It’s a great blend of comfort, power, and style, making it ideal for those who love relaxed, long-distance riding with a modern appeal.
