It is a simple and reliable commuter bike that offers a comfortable ride, good mileage and low maintenance. The bike has been in the market for over two decades and has a loyal fan base across the country.
Variant and Color
It is available in three variants: Kick Start, Self Start and Self Start with i3S technology. The i3S variant features an idle start-stop system that helps save fuel. The bike comes in seven color options: Black with Silver, Black with Purple, Black with Sports Red, Heavy Grey with Green, Firefly Golden, Candy Red and Cloud Silver.
Engine and Power
It is powered by a 97.2 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 8.02 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a four-speed gearbox and has a top speed of 87 kmph.
Fuel Efficiency and Tank Capacity
The Hero Splendor Plus has a claimed fuel efficiency of 80 kmpl, which is one of the best in its segment. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 9.8 litres, which gives it a decent range of around 780 km on a full tank.

This bike has a minimalist design and basic features. The bike has a halogen headlamp, an analog instrument cluster, a tubular double cradle frame, telescopic front forks, twin shock absorbers at the rear, drum brakes on both wheels and alloy wheels.
Wheel Size and Weight
It has a wheel size of 18 inches on both ends, with 80/100 section tyres. The bike has a kerb weight of 110 kg, which makes it easy to handle and manoeuvre.
