Recent spy shots have unveiled the interior of the upcoming Mahindra Thar Roxx SUV, scheduled for launch on August 15, India's Independence Day. The leaked images and video provide a glimpse into the cabin of the five-door version of the standard Thar, showcasing several new features and design elements. The Thar Roxx is expected to introduce significant changes to both its exterior and interior, setting it apart from its three-door counterpart.
The leaked video reveals a spacious interior with white leatherette seat covering, a first for the Thar model. The second row accommodates three passengers with adjustable headrests.

Talking about the engine, the Thar Roxx is expected to offer a 2.2-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre petrol engine, both available with manual and automatic transmission options. While higher variants will feature all-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive versions with traction control modes are also anticipated.
Upon its launch, the Mahindra Thar Roxx will join the Force Gurkha as the second lifestyle SUV offering both three-door and five-door variants in the Indian market. It will also compete with other SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
