Check out Kia’s new Syros SUV launched at starting price of ₹9 lakh and goes up to ₹17 lakh: 120 PS turbo petrol/diesel engines, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and 360° camera. Deliveries start Feb 2025.

Kia Syros Launched in India At Starting Price Of ₹9 lakh

Kia India has officially launched its new sub-compact SUV, the Syros. It carries the huge expectations from the brand as it comes with premium features and competitive pricing. Lying between the Sonet and Seltos, the Syros starts at ₹9 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base petrol-manual variant, climbing up to ₹17 lakh for the top diesel-automatic model. Under the hood, you get two turbocharged options: a peppy 1.0-liter petrol engine (120 PS) paired with either a manual or 7-speed DCT, and a torquey 1.5-liter diesel (115 PS) mated to a manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Visually, the Syros leans into a bold, boxy stance with vertical LED headlights up front, a sleek silver accent on the lower bumper, and eye-catching L-shaped taillights at the back. Inside, the cabin feels high-tech with dual 12.3-inch screens for the dashboard and infotainment, a 5-inch climate control touchpad, and plush touches like ventilated front and rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Practicality isn’t forgotten either—the rear seats slide, recline, and split 60:40 for extra cargo space.

Customers get six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, and Level 2 ADAS tech like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. Other goodies include wireless charging, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, and an electronic parking brake.

If you’re interested, bookings opened earlier this month with a ₹25,000 deposit, and deliveries start by mid-February 2025. With its loaded features, spacious interior, and competitive pricing, the Syros looks ready to challenge rivals like the Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue head-on.
