Key Highlights
Exterior & Design
Mahindra XUV300 Electric is likely to be based on the upcoming XUV300 facelift and thus its exterior design might also be similar to the XUV300 facelift. We expect it to come with a connected LED lightbar design in the rear as well as front. Moreover, it will probably get alloys with aero inserts and retractable door handles to reduce drag. The front bumpers might also get air curtains for better aero dynamics.
Interior & Features
Inside the cabin, the electric XUV300 is expected to come with a number of features that the XUV400 Electric already gets. Some of these include a 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system with AdrenoX connected car tech, a 10.25 inch drivers display, auto climate control AC, auto dimming IRVM, etc.
Battery & Motor
Mahindra is likely to offer the XUV300 Electric with a battery capacity of around 30kWh to 35kWh, which will be smaller than the 40kWh battery that the EL Pro variant of XUV400 Electric offers. Moreover, the XUV300 Electric will likely offer the same PMS motor as the XUV400 Electric. Also, it might continue to get 3 driving modes i.e. Fun, Fast and Fearless.
Expected Launch & Price
For XUV300 Electric, we expect an aggressive pricing by Mahindra. Looking at the competition, the only rival of XUV300 Electric seems to be Tata Punch EV. The Punch EV is priced between Rs 10.98 Lakh to Rs 15.49 Lakh (Ex-showroom). Thus, we expect the XUV300 Electric to come at a price range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
Although, there's no official launch date available for the XUV300 Electric, it is expected to launch in the first half of 2024.
