The Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 is one of the most anticipated bikes from the iconic brand in 2024. It is expected to launch in June 2024 with a price of ₹ 2.2 Lakhs* Onwards. The Shotgun 350 will be a cruiser bike with a retro-modern design and features.
Introduction
Shotgun 350 is a new addition to the 350cc lineup of the company, which includes the Classic 350, the Bullet 350 and the Hunter 350. The Shotgun 350 will be based on the same J platform as the Hunter 350, but will have a different styling and character.
Variant and Color
This motorcycle is likely to be offered in two variants: Standard and ABS. The Standard variant will have drum brakes at both ends, while the ABS variant will have disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The color options for the Shotgun 350 are not confirmed yet, but we can expect some classic shades like black, red, blue and green.
Engine and Power
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that powers the Hunter 350. This engine produces 20.2 bhp of power at 6100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Fuel Efficiency and Tank Capacity
It is expected to have a fuel efficiency of around 35 kmpl, which is similar to the Hunter 350. The fuel tank capacity of the Shotgun 350 is likely to be around 15 liters, which will give it a decent range of over 500 km on a full tank.
Features
Shotgun 350 will have some modern features like LED DRLs, LED tail lamp, digital-analog instrument cluster, USB charging port, Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike will also have some classic features like chrome accents, spoke wheels and rubber pads on the tank.
Wheel Size and Weight
It may have a wheel size of 19 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear. The tires will be tubeless and have a size of 100/90-19 at the front and 130/70-18 at the rear. The weight of the Shotgun 350 is expected to be around 180 kg (kerb).
Rivals
Shotgun 350 will compete with other cruiser bikes in the same segment like the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, the Honda H'ness CB350 and the Jawa Perak.
