Latest Update
Hero Xtreme 160R is a street bike that was launched in India in July 2020. It is based on the Xtreme 1.R concept that was showcased at the EICMA 2019. The bike is available in four variants and six colours. The latest update for the bike is the introduction of the Stealth 2.0 variant, which comes with a matte black colour scheme and red accents.
Introduction
Hero Xtreme 160R is a performance-oriented bike that competes with other bikes in the 150-160cc segment, such as TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Honda X-Blade.
Variant and Color
Hero Xtreme 160R is available in four variants: Single Disc, Double Disc, Stealth and Stealth 2.0. The Single Disc variant comes with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, while the other variants come with disc brakes on both wheels.
The Stealth variants also get knuckle guards as an additional feature. The bike is offered in six colours: Pearl Silver White, Vibrant Blue, Sports Red, Panther Black, Matte Black and Matte Black with Red.
Engine and Power
Xtreme 160R is powered by a 163cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 15 bhp at 8500 rpm and 14 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine is BS6-compliant and features fuel injection and Hero's XSens technology for better performance and efficiency. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Fuel Efficiency and Tank Capacity
It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 55.47 kmpl, which is impressive for a bike of this segment. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres, which gives it a decent range of over 600 km on a full tank.

Hero Xtreme 160R rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are shod with tubeless tyres. The front tyre size is 100/80-17 and the rear tyre size is 130/70-R17. The bike has a kerb weight of 138.5 kg for the Single Disc variant and 143 kg for the other variants. The bike has a wheelbase of 1327 mm and a ground clearance of 167 mm.
