In the absence of the Auto Expo in the coming year, car enthusiasts need not despair as the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 promises to be a vibrant spectacle of innovation and design. Suzuki, the renowned Japanese automobile manufacturer, is set to grace the event with its much-anticipated 2024 Swift, accompanied by a striking concept variant known as the 'Cool Yellow Rev.' Despite not witnessing substantial mechanical alterations, this concept promises a feast for the eyes with its bold cosmetic changes.
The Suzuki Swift Cool Rev Concept boasts of a visually appealing Cool Yellow Metallic exterior, complemented by a black roof and distinctive decals. Adorned with 'Fourth Generation Swift' graphics on the sides, the concept takes a bold step in redefining the Swift's aesthetic appeal. Gloss black accents adorn the grille and fog lamp housing, while the front splitter features a matte black finish. Further enhancing its allure, both the headlamps and tail lamps sport a sophisticated smoked effect.
Underneath the captivating exterior, Suzuki has subtly evolved the design of the 2024 Swift. The iconic silhouette remains intact, but the vehicle receives a contemporary touch with new LED tail lamps and headlamps. Drawing inspiration from the Baleno, the interior is equipped with an updated infotainment system and a revamped instrument cluster, elevating the overall driving experience.
While the Suzuki Swift Cool Rev Concept primarily focuses on aesthetics, the 2024 Swift itself sees a significant upgrade under the hood. The new Z12E engine, featuring three cylinders instead of four, is paired with a CVT automatic transmission. Suzuki offers flexibility with a hybrid and an all-wheel-drive powertrain option. Despite a slightly lower power output of 80 bhp and 108 Nm of torque, compared to the current Swift's 88 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque, the Z12E engine achieves an impressive fuel efficiency figure of 24 kmpl.
