Saera Electric, the company that makes Yogo bikes and Mayuri three-wheelers, in Bhiwandi, Rajasthan, has opened a new manufacturing plant. According to the company, its new plant will produce electric two-wheeler frames and chassis. According to Saera, it will spend Rs 25 crores in stages to set up its new facility, with additional funds needed to increase plant capacity.

The Managing Director of Saera Electric Auto Private Limited Nitin Kapoor mentioned that “Our new electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Bhiwadi will further escalate our growth and will be a boost towards making safe, clean, and green electric two-wheelers available to the masses; thereby, catering to the rising demand for e-mobility,” mayuri yogo

According to the company, the plant will initially be able to produce 7,500 units per month, with ambitions to increase that number to 50,000 units per month within a year. According to Saera, its long-term goal is to put out 5 lakh units every month from its new facility.

The company recently in the year 2022 started the production in Bawal plant and moreover, the company also formed a partnership earlier this year with LML Electric in order to produce the electric two-wheelers of LML Electric at the Bawal plant. The Bawal plant was acquired from Harley Davidson.
