The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 was debuted at the 2022 EICMA. The bike could make its debut in India during the Royal Enfield Rider Mania, which will be hosted in Goa from the 18th to the 20th of November 2022. It is likely to hit the market by the end of this year or early next year. The bike portfolio will include three models: Astral, Celestial, and Intersellar.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Engine Power
The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 gets its power from a 648cc parallel twin-cylinder engine taken from the RE 650cc twins. The fuel-injected engine is touted to produce 47PS and 52Nm of torque. A 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and assist handles the transmission chores.

The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 rides on the same 'J' platform as the Meteor 350. The bike now has a round LED headlamp, a teardrop fuel tank, a retro-styled winged emblem, a wide handlebar, redesigned side panels, forward-set foot pegs, and a fully new tail section. The better models will have silver finish alloy components, while the lower variants will have blacked-out alloy components.
The instrument console is silver in colour and features a tripper navigation system. The RE Meteor 350 supplied its non-adjustable hand levers, switches, and front brake master cylinder. The scooped seat on the bike provides superior comfort and lumbar support. The new Royal Enfield 650cc bike has a lower seat height than its 350cc sister.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Suspension, Braking, Tyres
The new Royal Enfield 650cc bike has standard USD forks up front and twin rear shock absorbers. The Super Meteor, like its 350cc sibling, has a front disc brake with a twin-piston floating calliper and a rear disc brake with a single-piston floating calliper, as well as dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). It sports 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp rubber.
