Ola may possibly lay off workers in the upcoming days as it refocuses on the EV sector and increases cash flow, according to the article.
Ola seems to have found itself in trouble. With a third executive leaving the company in the previous two weeks, Ola's senior management exodus has intensified in recent weeks. Shikharr S. Sood, Senior Director of Talent Acquisitions, was the most recent executive to leave the business which, since 2020, has experienced more than 30 changes at the top level of management.
Sood started working for the organization in May 2021, and he has now held the role for just over a year. He served as the Talent Acquisition Leader at Thermo Fisher before joining Ola. Sood has also worked with General Electric and Novartis in the past.

Ola announced earlier this year that it would be refocusing on its Ola Electric vertical in order to expand into the four-wheeler market. The automaker first mentioned an electric vehicle last year, shortly after introducing its electric scooter. The company recently previewed a number of electric vehicle concepts at a client event at its facility, promising to reveal additional information the following month. The company is also interested in fresh land for a second factory that will serve as the center of manufacturing for its electric vehicles.
