There are many SUVs upcoming cars in 2023 which will be launched in the middle of the year under 20 lakhs.
The market for new SUVs is always exciting, particularly when they are all priced under Rs. 20 Lakhs. This list of new SUVs launching in 2023 includes refreshed versions of popular models, new three-row options, and even off-road vehicles.

Hyundai's top-selling SUV, the Creta, is set for a mid-cycle refresh with new features and a redesigned exterior. It will feature a parametric grille similar to the Tucson, as well as updated lamps and LED daytime running lights. Engine options will include a 1.5-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

A seven-seater version of the Citroen C3 has been spotted testing, featuring a slightly higher ground clearance and rugged body cladding. It is likely to be called the C3 Aircross, C3 Sport Tourer or the C3 Sport Tourer and could compete with the Renault Triber and Kia Carens. It is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the standard C3, and a version called the eC3 electric has also been spotted testing.

The five-door version of the Force Gurkha will have multiple seating configurations including a bench or captain chairs for the second row. While it will share most components with its three-door sibling, the five-door Gurkha will have a slightly longer wheelbase. For exceptional off-roading capabilities, it will feature a Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre diesel engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox and will be offered in 4X4 and 4X2 versions with locking differentials and a low-range gearbox.

Another best-selling SUV, the Kia Seltos, will also receive a facelift in 2023. The Seltos will receive updated alloy wheels, a redesigned hood, headlamps, and a new tail-lamp design, along with a revamped bumper. The interior will also receive new upholstery, a new infotainment system, and cosmetic updates. It will also be equipped with ADAS, which will be optimized for India. Engine options will remain the same as the current model with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol, 1.5-litre petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel.

The MG Hector facelift will receive a cosmetic update with a diamond mesh grille inspired by 'Argyle' and chrome surround, and redesigned bumpers. The most significant change will be to the cabin, which will feature a new 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new dashboard with horizontal AC vents and a flowing design for the center console. Additionally, it will also come with ADAS technology to keep up with the competition. Engine options will be the same as the current model with a 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
