Suzuki has unveiled the Jimny Heritage Edition, which features retro body decals and decorations. This special edition off-roader will be restricted to 300 units for the Australian market, and will only be available with the petrol-manual drivetrain. It is based on the three-door vehicle rather than the yet-to-be-released five-door SUV.
The Jimny Heritage Edition features orange and red body stripes all over the car. The "Jimny Heritage Edition'' stickering on the sides reminds you which variant you're driving, and the vibrant red mud flaps are the icing on the cake. This treatment reminds us of the ancient Land Cruisers, which received a very similar treatment. Apart from it, the SUV resembles the conventional model in appearance.
The interior is pretty similar to the standard Jimny equipped with all the basic features, The interior is similarly simple, with only the essential needs. There are no modern superfluous frills or technology. It includes all of the equipment found in the top-tier SUV, such as a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, and a multi-information display.
The Jimny is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 100hp and 101 lb-ft of torque. There are only two transmission options: a regular 5-speed manual or an antiquated 4-speed automatic. The Jimny, on the other hand, gets a real mechanical 4x4 with a low-range transmission.
