Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition Launched at ₹24.24 Lakh: What's New?

Mahindra, one of India's leading automobile manufacturers, has introduced a new special edition of their popular SUV, the XUV700. Dubbed the "Blaze Edition," this variant offers distinctive features and enhancements aimed at captivating SUV enthusiasts. Priced competitively starting at ₹24.24 lakh ex-showroom, the Blaze Edition is set to entice prospective buyers with its unique offerings.

Features and Specifications

Exclusive Trim Options: The Blaze Edition is exclusively available with a front-wheel drive powertrain and 7-seater configurations. Buyers can choose between Petrol AT and Diesel AT and MT variants.

Cosmetic Enhancements: While the 2024 Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition retains its mechanical prowess, it receives notable cosmetic updates. Adorned in a striking matte Blaze Red hue with Napoli Black highlights, the exterior exudes a distinct aura. Blacked-out elements such as the roof, outside rearview mirrors, grille, and alloy wheels further enhance its visual appeal.

Sporty Interior: Inside the cabin, the Blaze Edition boasts a sleek black finish, enhancing its sporty demeanor. Red accents on the AC vents, center console, and upholstery stitching add a touch of sophistication.

Engine and Performance

XUV700 Blaze Edition retains its two engine choices. A 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine delivers robust performance with 200 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, while a 2.2-liter diesel engine offers an impressive 184 bhp and up to 450 Nm of torque.

Transmission Options: Customers can opt for either a 6-speed manual unit or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, ensuring a seamless driving experience.

Sales Performance

In April 2024, Mahindra witnessed a substantial year-on-year growth in SUV sales, with a total of 41,008 units sold, marking an 18% increase compared to the same period last year.

Strategic Market Positioning: The surge in sales aligns with the growing demand for SUVs in the Indian market, reflecting a global trend. Mahindra's strategic focus on SUVs aims to capitalize on this trend, with the newly launched XUV 3XO compact SUV positioned to further bolster its market presence.

As Mahindra continues to innovate and expand its SUV lineup, the XUV700 Blaze Edition stands as a testament to the brand's commitment to offering compelling vehicles tailored to meet the evolving needs of consumers.
