New tri-arrow-shaped LED DRLs and side intakes flank the black, larger grille on the facelifted Grand i10 Nios, which also has a new front bumper.

The hatchback has a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels as well as new LED tail lights joined by a light bar.

Along with Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Teal Blue, and Fiery Red, Hyundai is also offering a new Spark Green colour.

The hatchback's interior design has not changed, however, the seats now have new grey upholstery, a redesigned instrument panel, and footwell illumination.

i10 Nios facelift Power and Performance

The redesigned Grand i10 Nios is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the previous model and is mechanically identical to it.

When coupled to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission, this engine produces 83 horsepower and 113.8 Nm of torque.

In addition, the hatchback's 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 69 horsepower and 95.2 pound-feet of torque, comes with a factory-installed CNG kit. This is only available with a 5-speed transmission.

The 100hp, 172Nm, 1.0-litre turbocharged gasoline engine from the outgoing model, however, is no longer available for the facelifted hatchback as it has been temporarily terminated.

Hyundai states that the petrol-MT variants have a fuel efficiency of 20.7 kmpl while the petrol-AMT versions have a 20.1 kmpl. The fuel efficiency of the CNG versions is 27.3 kmpl. The Nios' powertrains, according to Hyundai, are now compliant with the impending RDE requirements.

The updated Grand i10 Nios is available in four trim levels: Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta, and it has a lot more features than the previous version.

These include a modernised safety package with four airbags, ABS, and EBD as standard. The top-spec version also includes hill-hold assistance, automated headlights, six airbags, ISOFIX anchorages, and ESC.

The hatchback maintains the 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, automated climate control, and a wireless charger as convenience features.

A tyre pressure monitoring system, Type-C USB connections, and cruise control are among the new features that are added to the top-spec vehicles (TPMS).
