To mark its path more adamant toward electric vehicles, Hyundai is all set to introduce the e-version of Creta SUV. First sightings of Hyundai Creta EV have been captured on the roads of South Korea. The EV is all set to mark its impression with an expected launch in the third quarter of this year. Once launched in the market Creta EV will be competing with MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400, Tata Curvv EV, and Maruti eVX.

Design and Features

The Creta EV is set to inherit most of the design pattern from its ICE counterpart. Some important changes include a closed-off grille and bumper, horizontal LED positioning lamps, DRLs, and front turn signals with sequential function. The SUV will come with a muscular hood design, connected LED tail lamps, and an aerodynamic spoiler with a LED high mounted stop lamp.

No wonder Creta EV is expected to offer a range of premium features similar to its ICE counterpart, including integrated infotainment and instrument screens, a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, front row ventilated seats, a Bose premium sound system, and dual-zone automatic temperature control.

Moreover it is expected that some premium features from the Ioniq 5 along with a range of connectivity and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, will be incorporated in Creata EV.
