The teaser image for Honda Cars India's impending, brand-new SUV, which is scheduled to make its global premiere later this year by the second quarter, was released on Monday. With its most recent teaser, the corporation gave consumers a sneak preview of a new model that will compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Additionally, the corporation has stated that this will be a completely original product created and manufactured by the Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd.
The latest teaser photo suggests the next Honda SUV's higher attitude. Additionally, it appears to have sleek-looking front LED DRLs that will be mounted higher on the bonnet. Circular fog lamps are located below, and the wheel arches appear to have cladding for a more muscular appearance. The forthcoming Honda mid-size SUV appears to have a rather commanding attitude in the sketch image, but it's unclear how much of these design cues will actually make it into the finished product when it debuts in summer 2023.
The new SUV's engine will probably be equipped with options for both pure gasoline and gasoline-hybrid engines. The latter appears likely given that Honda has emphasised the usage of hybrid engines and already incorporates the technology into some of its current vehicles.
It might be up to 4.2–4.3 metres long in terms of size. The upgraded platform that is also used in the Amaze marketed in the Indian market is most likely the foundation for it. Honda will equip the SUV with a sizable infotainment system inside that might measure up to over 12 inches.
In a recent news release, the business acknowledged that the SUV was chosen after doing "extensive market assessments in India." According to significant market research conducted in India on people's changing lifestyle needs and expectations from Honda for their new SUV in terms of design and performance, Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. created the all-new SUV.
