Honda to unveil its most awaited SUV, Honda Elevate, on June 6. The SUV will compete with Kia Seltos, Grand Vitara, and Hyundai Creta.
Honda has unleashed a new teaser image of its upcoming Elevate SUV before its global launch on June 6. The carmaker has released a teaser image of this highly competitive mid-size SUV that will compete with cars like the Hyundai Creta, Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos. Honda announced the SUV's name earlier month, and now it unveiled a teaser image informing about the official launch.
The company statement mentioned that Honda Elevate SUV is developed to fulfill the robust demand for SUVs in worldwide markets. This new global model gets all the necessary features that people require to match their lifestyle requirements and meet customers' expectations of Honda's New SUV. India will be the very first market where Honda Elevate will be launched.
In the recent teaser image, the roof of Honda Elevate is partially visible, and its enough to confirm that the car will have a sunroof, which has now become a crucial factor affecting customers' buying decisions.
However, mid-size SUV's like Creta, Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder come with a full-size panoramic sunroof. At the same time, Honda Elevate is more likely to get only a standard-size, single-pane sunroof. Kia Seltos is also available in the market with a single iteration. It will be replaced with a full panoramic sunroof in its upgraded variant. It will likely come to market by next month.
The teaser image reflects that the SUV has a body-colored outside rearview mirror (ORVM) and shark-fin antenna. Recently, the test mule of Honda Elevate was also spotted, which confirmed that the car would have a 360-degree rear camera. Additional features like a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, and cruise control will be available.
According to sources, this Honda SUV will likely have a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine capable of delivering 120bhp power. In terms of design, Elevate may feature a CR-V design with slim and sharp LED headlights. The SUV packs a large grille on the front side.
The rumors also hint that this vehicle can have a muscular front facia and stylish look for an impressive road presence. Honda Elevate gets multi-spoke alloy wheels with a minimum diameter of 16 inches.
As expected, the global debut of this mid-size SUV will be on June 6. However, the SUV may come on the market by August this year.
