Bajaj Auto will introduce its revolutionary CNG bike on July 5th, which will be the first of its kind in the world. This announcement marks a huge milestone. A teaser for this innovative bike has been issued by the company, highlighting some of its main features.
The upcoming motorcycle, known as the "Bruzer" internally, will include a dual-fuel setup that lets riders flip between petrol and compressed natural gas (CNG) using a dedicated switch. Both fuels will be stored separately, with the CNG cylinder likely positioned under the seat or fuel tank to maintain a sleek design.
While specific details remain undisclosed, the bike is expected to fall within the 100-125cc segment, targeting the commuter market. The teaser suggests a flat seat and circular LED headlamp, with a comfort-oriented suspension setup typical of commuter motorcycles.
Comparing this CNG motorcycle to its petrol-only equivalents in the same category, Bajaj predicts that running expenses will be lowered by up to 50%. The new bike is anticipated to be a market game-changer considering its affordability and the company's experience with CNG three-wheelers.
Maintaining its larger plan to produce a line of CNG bikes with an emphasis on the commuter market, Bajaj has launched this CNG bike. The key to the company's success will be its capacity to optimize the engine for dual-fuel use and assuring a seamless transition between fuel types.
The Bajaj CNG bike will compete with typical commuter models from TVS, Hero, and Honda in the Indian market, although it won't have any direct rivals when it debuts.

Kawasaki is gearing up to take on Hero’s dominance in India’s small-capacity off-road motorcycle market with the Kawasaki KLX 230. Recently spotted undergoing tests in Pune, this bike is assured to compete directly with Hero’s popular Xpulse 200 4V.
Although not a new model globally, the KLX 230 marks a significant addition to Kawasaki’s Indian lineup. Powered by a 233cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivering 19 bhp and 19.8 Nm of torque, it’s designed to meet local requirements with features like a front number plate and a saree guard.

Equipped with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheel setup fitted with block pattern tyres, it ensures stability and control across various terrains.
While an official launch date is yet to be confirmed, industry insiders suggest a debut by late 2024 or early 2025. Positioned as a direct competitor to the Hero Xpulse 200 4V in terms of performance, its design might also draw comparisons to the earlier Hero Impulse.
