Just like NS200 and NS160 Bajaj is about to launch Dominar 200 and Dominar 160 in Brazil. The company already sells the Dominar 400 in South America, where it is well-established.

Just like NS200 and NS160 Bajaj is about to launch Dominar 200 and Dominar 160 in Brazil. The company already sells the Dominar 400 in South America, where it is well-established.

Bajaj Dominar 200 and Dominar 160 | Rebadged version Launched in Brazil

The NS200 and NS160 that are offered for sale in India are simply rebadged as the Dominar 200 and Dominar 160. Both motorcycles share the same characteristics and engines. The Dominar 200 is therefore propelled by a 199cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 23.5bhp and 18.3Nm.

If the bike is released, it will mostly compete with sub-200 CC cruisers and sports bikes. It will compete with sports bikes like the Apache RTR 2004V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, KTM Duke 200, and others. Suzuki Intruder, Avenger Street 220, and Avenger Cruise 220 are in the cruiser category. Pricing will be advantageous in this case, though. Many bikes with less powerful engines compete with the Dominar 400 in terms of price.

The Dominar 160, on the other hand, shares a 160cc single-cylinder engine with the NS160. 15.5 horsepower and 14.6 Nm are produced by this powerplant.

The Duke 390 engine-equipped Bajaj Dominar is the most potent motorbike under Rs 2 lakh. Despite this, Bajaj's Dominar has not been able to achieve much success. The BS-6-compliant version has not yet been released.

The Dominar 200 and 160's upside-down forks, however, make the biggest distinction. The NS200 and NS160, in contrast, feature telescoping forks. The other motorcycles are all still the same. Even so, the feature list is the same and includes ABS as standard, LED DRLs, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

The 200cc engine of Dominar should be able to push it to a top speed of 135kmph. The lack of a fairing will keep its top speed lower than the RS200, but definitely, its top speed will be similar to NS200.
