The 2024 Tata Punch introduces new features and affordable sunroof variants. Learn about its pricing, specs, and record-breaking sales performance in FY25.

2024 Tata Punch Launched with New Features, Prices Start at ₹6.12 Lakh

Tata Motors has launched the updated version of the Tata Punch, with prices starting at ₹6.12 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to ₹9.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The automaker is also offering benefits of up to ₹18,000 on the SUV. Bookings for the updated Tata Punch can be made online through the company’s official website.

Record-Breaking Sales Performance

Tata Punch continues to hold its position as the highest-selling car in India for FY25. In August 2024, the SUV reached a significant milestone by becoming the fastest SUV in the country to cross four lakh sales. With the festive season approaching, Tata Motors expects the new iteration of the Punch to drive even higher sales.

Feature Upgrades

The updated Tata Punch comes equipped with several new, class-leading features. These include:
A segment-leading 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

  • Wireless phone charging capabilities.
  • A central armrest with a grand console.
  • Rear AC vents.
  • Type C fast USB charger.

New Variants and Sunroof Addition

The entire Tata Punch lineup has been upgraded with new variants, especially in the Accomplished and Creative personas. Additionally, Tata Motors has introduced more affordable sunroof-equipped variants in the Adventure persona, making the feature accessible to a wider range of customers.

No Cosmetic or Powertrain Changes

Interestingly, the updated Tata Punch doesn't feature any cosmetic changes. The powertrain options remain the same, with the SUV being offered in both petrol and diesel variants, powered by a 1.2-litre engine. Transmission options include both manual and AMT gearboxes.
Tata Motors has focused solely on feature upgrades with this update, maintaining the vehicle’s core design and performance aspects.
