2024 Hyundai Creta facelift: Sleek design, advanced tech, and powerful engines redefine compact SUV standards, anticipating a market revolution.
In an unexpected turn of events, a leaked walkaround video of the upcoming 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift has surfaced online, offering an exclusive preview of the top variant just days before its official launch scheduled for January 16, 2024. Shared by an automotive enthusiast Deepak Binwal, the footage provides an in-depth look at the refreshed exterior, interior upgrades, and the powerhouse beneath the hood, leaving car fans buzzing with anticipation.
The leaked video showcases a visually stunning exterior redesign, featuring H-shaped lighting elements, squared-off headlamp design, and a connected LED strip at the rear. The diamond-cut, dual-tone alloy wheels and wider functional footstep adds a touch of sportiness and practicality, elevating the aesthetics of the 2024 Creta.
Inside, the Creta boasts of a refreshed dashboard, hosting a new touchscreen infotainment system and a futuristic digital instrument cluster. Technological advancements include a 360° camera setup, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and luxurious features such as ventilated front seats, a dashcam, and a premium audio system, promising an unparalleled driving experience.
In Depth explanation of the mentioned Interior Upgrades
The Hyundai Creta facelift introduces an entirely redesigned dashboard, featuring twin 10.25-inch connected infotainment screens, akin to the Kia Seltos. These high-tech displays promise improved functionality and a superior user experience.
Contrary to the initial teaser images, the central HVAC control panel retains physical buttons, including rotary dials and toggle switches. This design choice provides a tactile interface, departing from the expected touch-based controls.
The passenger side boasts of a new gloss black trim housing the AC vent, while central AC vents are repositioned as a slim horizontal band. The dashboard includes a convenient storage shelf, and slight revisions grace the center console. Door pads, however, remain unchanged.
Upgrades include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, and an 8-way powered driver’s seat. Safety features are robust, encompassing six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree cameras, blind-spot monitoring, a tire pressure monitoring system, all-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control.
Under the hood, the 2024 Creta inherits its engine options from the recently launched Seltos facelift, featuring a range of powertrains, including a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. With manual, intelligent variable transmission (IVT), and dual-clutch options, the Creta promises a dynamic and efficient driving experience.
Industry experts predict that the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift, with its enticing updates, will witness a rise in demand upon its official launch. Positioned as a strong competitor in the compact SUV market, the Creta aims to maintain its dominance against rivals such as the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.
