Prior to the price being revealed and the launch taking place on March 2, 2023, the updated Honda City has already begun to arrive at dealers. As we have previously mentioned, test drives for the new city will start on March 3 and deliveries are expected to start soon after that.
We will be looking at each of the updated features of this sedan in detail.

The city receives just minor exterior aesthetics changes, as is common with nearly all Honda mid-life cycle revisions. The front and rear bumpers are redesigned, and higher variations have distinctive grille inserts that set them apart from lower types.
Even the headlamps and taillamps are exact replicas of the previous vehicle. The higher-end variants of the city facelift will have new models and still have 15-inch versions. With this upgrade, Honda is introducing a brand new paint color called Obsidian Blue.
The interior of the city facelift has seen little alterations, much like the outside. Mostly untouched are the layout, upholstery, and switchgear.
A new entry-level SV model is now available for the City petrol, which only has a 5-speed manual transmission. A CVT automatic is also available for the City petrol's other three grades, V, VX, and ZX. The City hybrid, which is more technologically advanced and fuel-efficient, also receives a new entry-level VX trim, making a total of two trims available.
The City petrol will also receive ADAS capabilities as part of the update, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeps assist, and autonomous emergency braking on higher trims. Until recently, ADAS was only available on the City Hybrid. Six airbags, TPMS, rain-sensing wipers, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are among the safety features.
The 121hp, 1.5-liter petrol engine from the City facelift will still be paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox. Another option is the 1.5-liter Atkinson Cycle petrol-hybrid engine with 126 horsepower and an e-CVT transmission. The Honda City is the only car that offers a powerful hybrid engine in the segment. The petrol and the hybrid engine are powerful but there is no diesel engine, due to the RDE norms.
