The Ola S1 Z features a clean and simple design, characterized by its sleek body lines and minimalistic aesthetic. It is available in two variants: the standard version, which accommodates a long seat suitable for two passengers, and the Z Plus variant, designed for single occupancy with a rear storage rack. This design choice enhances practicality, especially for delivery purposes, as seen in the Z Plus model, which includes a front carrier tray and an extended footboard.

The alloy wheels and tubeless tyres contribute to its modern look while improving ride quality and handling. The 14-inch wheel size on the Z Plus variant offers enhanced stability compared to the standard 12-inch wheels on the base model. 

The Ola S1 Z is equipped with a simple yet effective LCD instrument console that includes smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. This feature allows riders to access various functionalities directly from their mobile devices. The scooter also boasts a digital speedometer and odometer, providing real-time data on speed and distance traveled.

The Ola S1 Z also offers practical features such as under-seat storage for carrying essentials and an automatic transmission system that simplifies riding in city traffic. Notably, it includes an integrated mobile application that allows users to monitor battery status, locate their scooter, and access navigation features. ​

The Ola S1 Z features a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers, which provide a balanced suspension setup. The scooter's 12-inch wheels contribute to its stability, allowing it to handle various road conditions without compromising comfort. The OLA S1 Z is equipped with a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides a range of 75 to 146 kilometers on a single charge, depending on usage and conditions. This battery is notable for its swappable design, allowing users to easily replace the battery at designated stations, enhancing convenience, and reducing downtime during commutes. Additionally, customers can purchase an extra 1.5 kWh battery to effectively double their riding range, making the scooter adaptable for longer journeys. 

In terms of performance, the OLA S1 Z is powered by a 2.9 kW motor, delivering a peak power output of approximately 4 bhp. This setup allows the scooter to reach a top speed of 70 km/h. The S1 Z is capable of going from 0 to 20 km/h in just 1.8 seconds and achieving 0 to 40 km/h in about 4.7 seconds.
