Nissan X-Trail buying decision means appreciating sophisticated, niche engineering over pure feature counts. Its innovative 1.5-litre variable-compression turbo petrol engine generates 161 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, pairing beautifully with a smooth 12V mild-hybrid CVT to deliver phenomenal high-speed comfort, effortless cruising refinement, and a highly mature ride across a generous 210 mm ground clearance. However, if your vision of a luxury SUV or a premium SUV in India mandates a traditional powerhouse, electronic driver aids, or plush leather seating, the three-cylinder layout, lack of an ADAS suite, and basic fabric upholstery at a premium CBU price tag are evident compromises. It stands out as an incredibly premium, silky-smooth choice for distinct urban buyers, while those demanding raw power, 4x4 capability.

Good vehicle

15-Nov-24 | By Sachin
The engine in the Nissan X-Trail, particularly the 2.0L petrol offers plenty of power for city commutes and highway cruising. The 4-cylinder engine provides solid output and feels smooth, especially with the CVT gearbox. However, it’s not the most fuel-efficient engine in its class. If you’re looking for high power and decent efficiency, the engine performs well overall, though there are competitors with better efficiency.

Good and Comfortable

15-Nov-24 | By Manan
The performance of Nissan X-Trail is solid, specially for highway driving. It is responsive and provides a smooth and stable drive. It accelerates well with minimal body roll during sharp turns. However, while it performs admirably under most conditions, it doesn’t quite have the same power and agility as some of its competitors when it comes to tackling tough terrains or fast overtakes.
