The TVS iQube is the best representation of an everyday electric scooters available at a starting price of Rs. 1,30,512 in India. It is a rider friendly two-wheeler available in only 1 variant and 1 colour option. TVS iQube developed 3000 W power from its motor. TVS iQube is equipped with front disc and rear drum brakes. Similar to other manufacturers, TVS also became a part of the green revolution and launched the iQube as the first electric two-wheeler from the manufacturer. It comes with conventional scooter-like design along with a swing of modern features. It promises decent performance and battery range along with few design touches which provide it a revolutionary appeal. This includes sleek headlamp and tail lamp design along with a U-shaped LED DRL on the handlebar cowl. TVS has also given some practical features like roomy seat, spacious footboard, large under seat storage compartment and luggage hooks. It also gets an underseat USB charging socket for charging up the electronics devices. The vehicle gets power from the iQube lithium-ion battery which collectively have a power rating of 2.25kWh. It gets fully charged up in around five hours, and claims the range stands at 75kms. The scooter is a 4.4kW hub-mounted BLDC motor which generates 140Nm of torque. The company claims that it can achieve a top speed in Eco mode of 40kmph and in Sport mode of 78kmph with 0-40kmph acceleration time is 4.2 seconds. It rides on 12-inch wheels suspended by telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The iQube weighs 118kgs. It competes against the Ather 450 and the Bajaj Chetak electric, which are currently available only in select cities across India.
