The Suzuki Access 125 is still powered by a 124cc air-cooled engine that has been upgraded to fuel injection. The BS6-compliant engine produces 8.5bhp and 10Nm of torque, which is a 0.1bhp gain and 0.2Nm decrease from the previous generation. It also has an 'Eco Assist' light built into the semi-analog instrument cluster that illuminates when the Access 125 is ridden efficiently.
 
The Honda Activa 125 and the Hero Maestro Edge 125 are Access 125's main competitors in the country.
With the launch of the Avenis 125 in India, Suzuki joined the 125cc sporty scooter sector. While it shares the same platform as the Burgman Street 12 5 and Access 125, it has its own distinct characteristics.
 
In comparison to its stablemates, the scooter's design is much more aggressive and sporty. The body panels are all nicely sculpted with precise lines and shapes, and the colourful colour options further add to the youthfulness of the design. The scooter's headlamp and tail lamp are LEDs, while the turn indicators are traditional bulbs. Turn-by-turn navigation, as well as message and phone notifications, are all available through the fully digital console, which is Bluetooth enabled. It's even more convenient to live with thanks to an external fuel filler lid, side stand interlock, and USB charging.
 
The Avenis 125 is powered by a 125cc fuel-injected engine that produces 8.5bhp and 10Nm of peak torque. It weighs 106 kg. The Avenis has telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock in the back to absorb undulations and rides on a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheel. A disc-drum combo is used for braking.
Suzuki offers the Avenis 125 in four different colour schemes, as well as a Race edition with Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP decals. The TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Grazia, Aprilia SR 125, and Hero Maestro Edge 125 are among the bikes it competes against.
