ZELIO Ebikes has teamed up with LoanTap to provide customers with easy financing options for electric two-wheeler purchases, enhancing accessibility and affordability.
Zelio e-bikes, a popular company in the Indian electric two-wheeler industry, has partnered with LoanTap which is a financial institution that provides personal loans to its customers. The objective of this partnership is to provide straightforward financial services to Zelio customers for easy EMI options for e-bike purchases. In addition, this collaboration also aims to increase the accessibility of Zelio electric bikes to a wider range of customers who prefer to purchase vehicles via financial services such as vehicle and personal loans.
This partnership will result in a range of benefits for customers’ needs such as flexible repayment plans. These benefits allow buyers to select their preferred terms that align with their financial health. LoanTap provides affordable interest rates and clear terms without any hidden charges. Additionally, the quick loan approval process allows customers to secure their financing on the go, while easy customisable EMI options help them in efficient and effective budgeting. Furthermore, the LoanTap app provided by LoanTap further simplifies the management of loan details at any time.
This collaboration is anticipated to drive sales and improve customer interactions at Zelio dealerships. LoanTap has established straightforward eligibility criteria, requiring applicants to be at least 21 years old and an Indian citizen.
Mr. Kunal Arya, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Zelio E-bikes, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “As electric vehicle adoption rises in India, consumers are increasingly looking for financing options. Collaborating with LoanTap allows us to meet this demand by providing flexible financing solutions that facilitate access to electric mobility.”
On the other hand, Mr. Satyam Kumar, CEO and Co-Founder of LoanTap added, “We are excited to partner with Zelio E-bikes to promote electric two-wheelers as a sustainable transportation choice. Our customer-first approach aligns perfectly with Zelio’s mission to enhance accessibility.”
To effectively promote LoanTap's financing options, Zelio E-bikes dealers will receive essential training and resources. This includes sessions on best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will help customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
LoanTap plans to launch various promotions and limited-time offers to encourage customers to take advantage of financing options when purchasing Zelio E-bikes. The success of this initiative will be monitored through monthly reports, dealer feedback, and customer satisfaction surveys.
ZELIO E-bikes has a vast dealership network with over 273 outlets and more than 200,000 satisfied customers. The company aims to expand its network to 400 dealerships by March 2025, across India.
