Yamaha MT 15 Monster Energy Moto GP Edition launched at Rs 147,900
● The Yamaha MT 15 Monster Energy Moto GP Edition comes on the heels of the FZ X retro-themed neo-roadster launched a couple of months ago.● The MT 15 Monster Energy Moto GP Edition gets cosmetic updates to be distinctive from the standard MT 15.● This Yamaha model is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 147,900.
Biking enthusiasts will rejoice at the launch of the Yamaha Moto GP Edition MT 15 Monster Energy. This powerful bike will now be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 147,900.
The MT 15 Monster Edition is another bike launched under “The Call of the Blue” Yamaha direction. This bike comes with updated features to make it distinct from the standard MT 15 offering.
The Difference
The primary distinction is the Yamaha Moto GP branding on the fuel tank, side panels, and tank shrouds. This branding outlines Yamaha's racing background.
The bike is available in an all-black theme with green body decals. While being an updated version of the standard MT 15, the Moto GP edition model is a naked streetfighter based on the R15 V3 delta box chassis.
The Engine
The updates make the MT 15 Monster Energy an aggressive-looking bike, but it runs on the same 155cc fuel-injected liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC, 4-valve engine with a 6-speed transmission. This engine is powerful enough to produce 18.5ps power output and torque of 13.9Nm.
Other Features
The MT 15 Monster Energy retains many standard model features, including a Variable Valve Actuation system, single-channel ABS, side-stand engine cut-off, and an A&S clutch. In addition, features like a bi-functional LED headlamp, multi-function LCD instrument cluster, uni-level seat with a grab bar, gear position indicator, underbody cowl, and the LED taillights complete the vehicle's attractive look. The MT 15 Monster Energy weighs 138 Kg.
The telescopic fork suspension for the front wheels and the linked-type mono-cross suspension for the rear provides the ideal cushioning to the riders. In addition, the bike gets alloy wheels wrapped with a 140mm radial rear-tyre to give a better grip on the road.
The MT 15 Monster Energy Moto GP Edition bike follows the launch of the FZ-X retro-themed neo-roadster introduced a few months ago. So bike lovers are in for a treat.
