Italian electric brand VLF enters India with stylish, affordable scooters blending design and performance, launching 'Tennis' this festive season.

VLF, Leading Italian Electric Two-Wheeler Manufacturer, Expanding into India

VLF, a renowned name in electric scooters from Italy, is gearing up to launch its operations in India. Founded by designer Alessandro Tartarini back in 1993, VLF is known for its stylish and innovative designs. Partnering with KAW Veloce Motors, VLF aims to introduce electric scooters that combine Italian heritage with cutting-edge technology.

The brand plans to establish a strong network of dealerships across major Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India. By the end of 2024, VLF aims to have 15 dealerships operational, with a target to expand to 50 by the end of the financial year.

Alessandro Tartarini highlighted VLF's commitment to offering products that stand out in a competitive market. The brand focuses on creating electric scooters that are not only stylish but also affordable, catering to a wide range of consumers.

VLF's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility will be located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Leveraging KAW Group's extensive six-decade manufacturing expertise in the region, the facility will be pivotal in producing VLF's upcoming models.

One of VLF's flagship models, named 'Tennis,' is set to debut during this year's festive season. Designed to appeal to both new riders and seasoned enthusiasts, Tennis promises to offer a premium riding experience with its distinctive design and performance.

To introduce itself to Indian consumers, VLF plans an extensive marketing campaign leading up to its official launch in the 2024 festive season. This campaign will include roadshows, participation in auto expos, and various engaging marketing activities aimed at showcasing VLF's unique offerings.

Tushar Shelke, Managing Director of KAW Veloce Motors, expressed excitement about introducing VLF's range to Indian consumers. He emphasized VLF's focus on delivering electric scooters that excel in both design and performance, promising a unique experience for every rider.

With its entry into India, VLF aims to carve a niche in the electric two-wheeler segment, offering stylish alternatives to traditional gasoline-powered scooters. As the market evolves, VLF looks forward to setting new standards in the Indian electric vehicle landscape.

For enthusiasts and everyday riders alike, VLF represents a blend of Italian craftsmanship and forward-thinking technology, assured to redefine urban commuting with its upcoming models.
