Honda Elevate will feature the company's ADAS tech, Honda Sensing. However, this advanced car safety feature might be missing in a base variant of the Elevate SUV.

Honda has already announced the official launch of its upcoming midsize SUV, Honda Elevate, and now a new update has been released from this automaker. Honda is going to be manufactured in the company's India-based manufacturing facility and will feature Honda's ADAS technology. The automaker was heavily testing this upcoming SUV on Indian roads and was also spotted testing this SUV in Japan. Further, it's been reported that Honda can provide advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) technology. The report also says the company can provide more safety features in top-end variants.

Upcoming Honda Elevate SUV to Get ADAS Technology, Official Debut on June 6

Key Highlights

  • All-new upcoming Honda Elevate to feature ADAS Tech
  • The global debut of Elevate will happen on June 6
  • Honda can provide a hybrid powertrain option at a later stage

Honda Elevate to Get ADAS Technology

One of the company officials confirmed that every car from Honda will now pack the company's ADAS technology, which is called Honda Sensing. Honda City's facelift variant has already been introduced with ADAS tech on manual and automatic transmission variants. However, the Honda Sensing feature is missing in the base SV trim of City, which means the base variant of Honda Elevate can also miss the company's ADAS tech. This advanced driver assistance system packs many features like a collision mitigation system, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist.

Honda Elevate Powertrain

According to the sources, the upcoming Honda Elevate can get power from a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine. At a later stage, the company can install a hybrid powertrain. The petrol engine can be based on a powertrain available in Honda City, capable of generating 121bhp of power and 145 Nm of torque. Further, the engine configuration can come mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Honda Elevate Design & Exterior

This midsize SUV is likely to pack an aggressive front and rear profile. Honda Elevate may feature LED headlights at the high-specs and a halogen headlamp setup in mid-spec variants. It's anticipated that Elevate could get a single-pane sunroof and thick C-pillar with a slightly sloped design in the rear profile.

Honda Elevate Expected Price

Honda will make the global debut of the upcoming Elevate on June 6. This upcoming Honda SUV, Elevate, is expected to fall under the price range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 17 lakh, ex-showroom.
