Upcoming Maruti SUV & MUV: 7-Seater Upcoming Maruti Cars

Maruti Suzuki is going to launch two 7- seater models to grab a position in both SUV & MUV markets. It is going to be on sale in the coming years. The first one will be a new modified version of the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV, and the other one will be an SUV based on the Grand Vitara.

Here are some first impressions and information about the coming products that we know so far.

New 7- Seater MPV by Maruti

This festive season the new 7- seater MPV by Maruti is expected to be launched. MPV will share its platform, powertrains and some of its design features with Toyota's Innova Hycorss.

That gives a sign that it may come with a 2.0L Atkinson cycle and a 2.0L petrol engine. The standard petrol engine produces 172bhp of power with 205 nm torque, on the other hand the powerful hybrid system produces 184bhp with an e-Drive transmission. The new design is anticipated to come with small modifications.

It will come with new headlamps, new grille and a new bumper, and it is going to be manufactured at Toyota's Bidadi facility. The cost is expected to be between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh, making it the most lavish model available from the company.

New 7- Seater SUV by Maruti
