Ultraviolette launches the F77 Super Street, a road-focused electric sportbike with up to 323 km range, improved ergonomics, and cutting-edge features. Check out its price, specs, and availability.

Ultraviolette Automotive has expanded its F77 lineup with the launch of a new variant: the F77 Super Street. Designed as a more road-focused and accessible version of its high-performance electric motorcycle, this new model promises a more comfortable riding posture without compromising on performance or style.

Ultraviolette F77 Super Street Launched A More Rider-Friendly Electric Sportbike

 Comfort & Performance

The most significant change in the F77 Super Street is its rider ergonomics. Ultraviolette has equipped the bike with an 85mm taller and 30mm wider handlebar, offering a more upright and relaxed riding position. As a result, the rider’s triangle is far less aggressive, featuring an 80-degree angle compared to the more committed 55-degree angle of the F77 Mach 2. This makes the Super Street more suited for daily commutes and long rides while retaining its sporty DNA.

Like its sportier sibling, the F77 Super Street is available in two variants: Standard and Recon, offering different battery pack options with an IDC-claimed range of up to 323 km. The pricing remains identical to the Mach 2, starting at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Standard variant and Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Recon model.

Design & Styling

At first glance, the F77 Super Street looks nearly identical to the F77 Mach 2, which is a good thing, given the latter's striking, futuristic design. The bike retains the angular LED headlight, large aerodynamic side fairings, and sharp tail section with integrated grab handles. However, subtle differences set it apart, including a standard handlebar with risers, a new mini front screen, and Super Street badging on the fairings.

While the Mach 2 is available in nine colour options, the Super Street is offered in a more focused palette of four colours: Afterburner Yellow, Turbo Red, Cosmic Black, and Stellar White.

 Technology & Features

The F77 Super Street comes with a 5-inch TFT display, offering a suite of features and connectivity options. It includes three riding modes: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic, along with switchable dual-channel ABS, four-level traction control, hill-hold assist, and dynamic stability control. The Recon variant further enhances its capabilities with an optional 9-level regenerative braking system.

Ultraviolette is also offering a wide range of optional accessories, such as a TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), lever guards, aero discs, and panniers, available in both soft and hard cases with a 30-litre capacity. Riders can also opt for a top-mount storage box. Additionally, the brand’s ‘Violette A.I.’ suite offers smart tech enhancements like crash alerts, daily ride analytics, an anti-collision warning system, remote lock/unlock, and Delta Watch, a security feature that triggers an alarm if someone tampers with the bike.

Battery, Performance & Charging

The standard variant of the F77 Super Street is powered by a 7.1 kWh battery, offering an IDC-claimed range of 211 km. It delivers 36 bhp and 90 Nm of torque, achieving 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-1090 Nm/h in 7.8 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Recon variant gets a larger 10.3 kWh battery, boosting the range to 323 km. It also produces higher output, with 40 bhp and 100 Nm, reaching 323 km/h in a slightly quicker 0-60 km/h time of 2.8 seconds and a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.7 seconds.

Charging times vary depending on the model and charger. The Standard variant can be charged from 20% to 80% in 3 hours using a regular charger, while the optional Boost Charger cuts this time to 1.5 hours. The Recon model takes 5 hours to charge from 20% to 80% on a standard charger, with the Boost Charger reducing this to 2.5 hours.

Warranty & Availability

Ultraviolette offers a standard 3-year/60,000 km warranty with the base variant, which can be extended to 5 years/100,000 km through the UV Care Plus package. The Recon model comes with the UV Care Plus as standard, along with an optional UV Care Max package that extends coverage to an industry-leading 8 years/800,000 km.

Bookings for the Ultraviolette F77 Super Street are now open, with deliveries set to commence in March 2025. With its rider-friendly ergonomics, impressive range, and cutting-edge technology, the F77 Super Street aims to be the perfect electric sportbike for both city riding and long-distance travel.
