Triumph's Daytona 660, priced at ₹9.72 lakh, is a perfect blend of performance and comfort. Compare its specs and pricing against competitors like the Aprilia RS 660.

Triumph Daytona 660 Launched in India for Rs. 9.72 lakh

Triumph has launched the all-new Daytona 660 in India for ₹9.72 lakh. The Daytona 660 is a well-balanced sport bike that can be used on the track or in the city since it combines performance, agility, and comfort. The firm debuted the brand-new addition earlier, and reservations began to take place a month ago.

Triumph used to sell the bike as the Daytona 675, but they had to cease making it because of the more stringent pollution regulations. But now that the Daytona has evolved into a 660, it stands in direct competition with bikes like the Aprilia RS 660 and the Ninja 650.

Engine Power

The Daytona 660 is powered by a 660cc inline three-cylinder engine shared with the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660.

It produces 95hp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm at 8,250rpm, making it the most powerful motorcycle in Triumph’s 660 range.

Despite its power, Triumph claims that the new Daytona 660 is more friendly and comfortable compared to its predecessor, the Daytona 675.

Weight and Dimensions

The Daytona 660 weighs 12kg more than the Trident 660 and 5kg lighter than the Tiger Sport 660.

It features a seat height of 810mm, which is 25mm shorter than the Adventure counterpart and 5mm taller than the naked counterpart.

Colors and Fuel Tank

Globally, the Daytona 660 is available in three colors: Snowdonia White, Satin Granite, and Carnival Red.

It comes equipped with a 14-liter fuel tank, similar to the Trident 660.

Pricing and Rivals

In India, the Daytona 660 costs ₹27,000 more than the Tiger Sport 660 and ₹1.60 lakh more than the Trident 660.

It competes with bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the upcoming Honda CBR650R and Suzuki GSX-8R.
