Toyota Innova Hycross is now being distributed to the consumers in India. The cheaper variants of the hybrid version has a waiting period of 10 months.
Toyota has begun distributing hybrid and non-hybrid Innova Hycross models to consumers in India. The base petrol form of the three-row MPV costs Rs 18.30 lakh, while the top-spec strong hybrid model costs Rs 28.97 lakh. The new model may be reserved online or at authorized shops for a nominal fee of Rs 50,000.
According to recent reports, deliveries of the new Hycross began on a first come, first served basis in most places.
The new Innova Hycross Hybrid has earned the bulk of bookings, while the hybrid variant has received the majority of deliveries.
According to reports, the cheaper variants of the hybrid version have a waiting period of roughly 10 months. The Hycross hybrid top variations, on the other hand, have an almost one-year wait.
The non-hybrid version of the MPV presently has a 4 to 6 month waiting list.

The non-hybrid Innova Hycross is offered in four variants: G-SLF (7S), G-SLF (8S), GX (7S), and GX (8S), with prices ranging between Rs 18.30 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh.
The hybrid version is offered in four variants: VX (7S), VX (8S), ZX, and ZX (O), with prices ranging from Rs 24.01 lakh to Rs 28.97 lakh.
The new model is offered in five trim levels: G, GX, VX, ZX, and ZXL (O). Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Avant-garde Bronze Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, and Super White are the exterior color possibilities.
The new model sits on a 100mm larger wheelbase than the previous generation and is built on a monocoque front-wheel-drive basis. It has a wheelbase of 2850mm and measures 4755mm in length, 1845mm in width, and 1785mm in height. The Toyota Safety Sense suite includes ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic warning, and a pre-collision system. Six airbags, traction control, an electronic stability programme, and ABS with EBD are among the other safety features.
It has two engine options: a 2.0-litre normally aspirated petrol and a 2.0-litre petrol with Toyota's self-charging strong hybrid technology. While the former produces 172bhp and 205Nm and is linked to a CVT transmission, the hybrid powerplant produces 186bhp and is paired to an e-Drive transmission. The powerful hybrid variant is touted to have an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl and a range of 1097km on a full tank of petrol.
