Hero dominates the sales chart

Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has once again dominated the monthly sales chart of motorcycles in India. According to the SIAM data, Hero sold 2,38,340 units of its popular Splendor model in July 2023, making it the top-selling motorcycle in the country. The Splendor has been consistently leading the sales chart for several months, thanks to its affordable price, reliable performance, and high fuel efficiency.

The second spot in the list was occupied by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), which sold 1,31,920 units of its Shine model in July 2023. The Shine is a 125cc commuter bike that offers a smooth ride, good mileage, and attractive design. The Shine has been gaining popularity among urban and rural customers alike, as it caters to their daily commuting needs.

The third position in the list went to Bajaj Auto, which sold 1,07,208 units of its Pulsar range of motorcycles in July 2023. The Pulsar is a sporty and stylish bike that comes in various variants and engine capacities. The Pulsar is known for its powerful performance, aggressive looks, and advanced features. CarBike360 Says

The SIAM data shows that the two-wheeler industry has been recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns that affected production and demand. However, with the easing of restrictions and the availability of vaccines, the industry is hopeful of achieving better growth in the coming months.

The data also shows that Hero MotoCorp has been able to maintain its leadership position by offering a range of models that cater to different segments and tastes. Honda and Bajaj have also been able to secure their spots in the top three by offering quality products that deliver on performance and features. TVS and Royal Enfield have also shown their presence in the top ten by offering bikes that appeal to niche markets and loyal customers.
