Tata Nexon EV has clocked a new sales peak in June 2021 to become India’s best-selling electric vehicle.

Post-COVID, Tata Nexon EV sales have hit an all-time high

● Post COVID-19, the Tata Nexon EV has shown encouraging sales for the first time in June 2021.● With a sale of 650 units in June 2021, Tata Nexon EV has reached its peak since its launch in January 2020.● As of June 2021, the Tata Nexon EV sales figure has crossed 4,000.

Tata Nexon EV has become India’s best-selling electric vehicle

Tata Motors takes great pride in its electric SUV model. The Tata Nexon EV has registered an 18-month high of 650 units since January 2020. As a result, Tata Nexon has confirmed its position as the highest-selling EV in India today. Tata Motors has sold more than 4000 Tata Nexon EVs since January 2020. The next best is MG ZS EV, with sales of around 3000 units up to June 2021.

This electric SUV from Tata Motors comes in three versions, XM, XZ Plus, and XZ Plus Lux, with its prices ranging between Rs 13.99 lakhs and Rs 16.56 lakhs (Delhi, ex-showroom). Besides, there is tremendous demand for the Tata Nexon EV, as evidenced by the premium ranging from up to Rs 3.5 lakhs.

Tata Nexon EV draws its power from an electric motor equipped with a 30.2kW/hr Li-ion battery pack. The motor delivers 129ps power and high torque of 245Nm. Tata Nexon claims to deliver a mileage of more than 300 km. It comes equipped with a 3.3kW AC home charger that can take around eight hours for a full recharge. The fast charging facility is available on this car as it can charge the batteries up to 80% in 60 minutes.

This vehicle comes in two driving modes and features regenerative brakes. Other features include automatic wipers, automatic AC, electric sunroof, automatic headlamps, a 7-inch infotainment system, rear parking cameras, a push-button start feature, dual front airbags, and a semi-digital cluster.

Tata Motors Chairman N Chandrasekaran has confirmed that, in addition to the Tata Nexon EV, Tata Motors will be launching ten new EVs by the year 2025.
